Unique architecture, spectacular frescoes. Verona, a two thousand-year-old city, features the famous Arena and the romantic Juliet’s balcony, but not only: within its walls many beautiful churches painted with precious frescoes and noble palaces are definitely worth of notice. One of the highlights of the tour is a wine tasting of Valpolicella wine in one of the most beautiful villas of the region. We explore Mantua, surrounded by lakes where elegant Renaissance buildings are reflected and where Palazzo Te and the amazing frescoes of Giulio Romano stand out. Grand finale in Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most romantic Italian places.

DAY 1 – Arrival in Verona
Transfer by private minivan to Verona.
Four nights in a Hotel in the historic center of Verona.
DAY 2 – Verona and Opera
The morning is dedicated to a guided tour of the historic center of Verona: the main squares, the ancient bridges, the most beautiful churches and the Arena, with an exceptional panoramic view from Castel San Pietro, which we reach with the funicular. Lunch in a typical restaurant and free afternoon. In the late afternoon, classic Italian aperitif and Opera in the Arena: such a unique experience!
DAY 3 – Valpolicella: villas and wines
Transfer by minivan in Valpolicella along secondary roads surrounded by vineyards. Visit of a Venetian Villa and Valpolicella wine tasting at the cellar of the villa: wine and art are such a good match!
After lunch in an exclusive tavern that offers traditional cuisine revisited in a refined way, we visit a second cellar in a Villa Veneta: there we can also appreciate the beautiful historic garden of the property.
Return to Verona by private minivan and dinner in a renowned pizzeria with gourmet pizza.
DAY 4 – Mantua and Borghetto
Transfer by minivan to Mantua, a splendid city of art surrounded by lakes whose waters reflect the the elegant Renaissance buildings of the historic center. Guided tour of Palazzo Te, a grandiose palace frescoed by Giulio Romano.
Lunch in a traditional restaurant with typical dishes of the Mantuan tradition, including pumpkin tortelli.
In the afternoon transfer to visit Borghetto sul Mincio, a small village lying on the banks of the Mincio river, dominated by the medieval castle of Valeggio sul Mincio. Return to Verona by minivan.
DAY 5 – Departure
Check out and transfer by private minivan to the airport.
