Prosecco DOC wine
Produced along the Venetian hills, in particular in the province of Treviso (areas of Valdobbiadene, Conegliano and Asolo) and in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Prosecco is the most exported (and imitated) Italian wine abroad, with a boom starting from 90s. Since 2019 the Prosecco Hills have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The traditional Prosecco is still, but its sparkling and spumante version is very successful, in all cases it goes well with appetizers and fish dishes.
The wine production area is a wonderful succession of hills, steep in some cases, pleasant to ride on an e-bike or to discover with easy walks, from cellar to cellar.
