Lake Iseo became world famous all at once thanks to the colossal installation of Christo in 2016: floating walkways in bright orange connecting the shore to the Island of Montisola were surely eye-striking but at the same time caused much discussion. The large body of water narrows between the Alps and the large islet of Montisola rises in the center.

It is worth navigating its blue waters, strolling along the lakefront immersed in the wonderful natural scenery, tasting lake fish, cured meats and cheeses, oil and DOC Valcalepio and Franciacorta wines (sparkling wine DOCG).
