From Padua to Venice along the river Brenta. Padua features beautiful historical buildings, typical osterias and local markets. From the city centre it is possible to reach Venice navigating on the river Brenta, with its riverside majestic Venetian Villas, and the nearby Euganean Hills, where elegant palaces with lush gardens stand out and where gastronomy treasures are produced. Finally, after getting lost among the charming little alleys of Venice, the visit of the islands of the lagoon will be one of the highlights of the tour, totally immersed into nature and tranquillity.

Program
DAY 1 – Arrival in Padua
Private minivan transfer to Padua city centre.
DAY 2 – City centre and Euganean Hills
In the morning, visit of the city centre, the popular and historical markets, the great churches and the elegant squares. Classic aperitivo and lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the Euganean Hills, spotted by many beautiful Venetian Villa and visit of a historical park that features an amazing maze. The day ends perfectly with a tasting of the local wines, including the renowned Fiori d’Arancio.
DAY 3 – Burchiello
From Padua city centre we move towards Venice with the Burchiello, originally the traditional Venetian lagoon boat. The slow and panoramic navigation follows the river Brenta. Many Venetian Villas were built on the riverside: we visit three of them, including the large Villa Pisani. After getting to the river outlet, the boat crosses the lagoon and gets close to Piazza San Marco: there is no better way to get to Venice!
DAY 4 – Venice
In the morning, a guide waits for the group to give a short introduction of the city: two hours of great art and history.
With the full day ferry boat tickets (the classic vaporetto!), the group can navigate on the lagoon, visit the islands, such as the rural Mazzorbo and the colorful Burano, and enjoy free time in Venice: getting lost among alleys and canals is always a unique experience!
DAY 5 – Departure
Private water taxi transfer to the airport.
