Garda Lake and its charming villages. We will explore Lake Garda and its hills, visiting the beautiful villages overlooking the coast: Garda, with the Rocca, a mountainous relief that offers a magnificent view of the lake; Bardolino, famous for its red wine, and Sirmione, known for its thermal waters, rich in sulfur. We will cycle to the medieval village of Borghetto, taste the typical Tortellini of Valeggio together with Custoza DOC wine, pedaling among gentle hills covered with olive groves and vineyards.

Program
DAY 1 – Arrival on the lake
Welcome to Peschiera! In the late afternoon: delivery of the bikes, bike fitting and question time.
DAY 2 – Sirmione and Lugana
35 km / +300 m / Secondary roads
The itinerary explores the countryside in the South of Lake Garda: large cultivated fields, medieval villages, castles and the Lugana vineyards. The tower of San Martino della Battaglia stands out, symbol of the Italian Risorgimento and, after biking its thin peninsula, we reach the beautiful village of Sirmione. Let’s take time to visit its beautiful historic center! Then we return to Peschiera along a cycle path.
DAY 3 – The Eastern coast: Garda, Bardolino, Lazise
40 km / +450 m / Secondary roads and cycle paths
The itinerary heads East. We pass through typical villages such as Colà, famous for its thermal baths, and Affi with its cobbled streets and colorful houses. The itinerary then descends from the hills and arrives in Bardolino, a lakefront town famous for the wine named after it. After a relaxing stroll through the town it’s time to get on our way backan easy cycle following the lakeside cycle path leads us to Lazise, characterized by its beautiful old port and a medieval castle, and then to our hotel.
DAY 4 – Custoza and Borghetto sul Mincio
45 km / +290 m / Secondary roads and cycle paths
The Custoza wine area is a fascinating and authentic area, with little tourism. From Peschiera we head inland, with tall cypresses and vineyards on both sides of the road, and we reach Borghetto sul Mincio with its fairytale atmosphere, Valeggio and its castle and the Sigurtà Park, a wonderful flower garden. We will taste the typical tortellini and the local white wine: Custoza.
We head back to Peschiera along the Mincio cycle path. In the late afternoon delivery of bicycles and greetings.
DAY 5 – Departure
Transfer from Peschiera to the airport.
