Bergamo and Franciacorta
#artcities #foodies
Hidden treasures one step away from Milan. Bergamo, a city of art enclosed by mighty Venetian walls, is nestled between high mountains, a lush countryside and hills covered with vineyards. We taste the main product of the Bergamo mountains, the cheese, and then we move to Franciacorta, where the vineyards reach the blue waters of Lake Iseo. We visit Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe, where lush olive groves grow, and we finish with a great tasting of Franciacorta, probably the most famous traditional method in Italy.
Get inspired! This is a standard proposal.
Departure and return dates, duration of the trip, type of accommodation, experiences, transfers, meals and other services: the travel package will be created according to the desires and the needs of the Tour Operator and of the traveler.

DAY 2 – Cheese and Bergamo
Bergamo is situated at the foot of high mountains. After a typical-product-based lunch in agriturismo, transfer back to Bergamo, guided tour of the city and classic Italian aperitivo: salute!
DAY 3 – Lake Iseo
Transfer to Lake Iseo, one of the most charming alpine lakes in North Italy, characterized by the lush island of Monte Isola, nestled among blue water and alpine peaks. Private boat tour on the lake towards its most charming places, including other smaller islands. Lunch in Monte Isola and short panoramic walk along the coast. In the afternoon, transfer to an agriturismo or wine relais in Franciacorta.
DAY 4 – Franciacorta
Short transfer in Franciacorta and easy hike among the green hills of the region, that alternate lush forests and large vineyards.
